Data Protection Officer Services

At the moment, UK GDPR requires certain organisations to have a Data Protection Officer (DPO) by law.

The role requires knowledge and expertise of data protection law and they must be free from any conflict of interests so they can’t hold a role where they make operational decisions within the organisation.

We provide outsourced Data Protection Officer services for over 220 customers.
Our retained service includes policy development, training, incident management. We also liaise with the public and the Information Commissioner. We pride ourselves on offering a personal service through a dedicated consultant.

We are profoundly grateful to Hannah and Emma for their help with a particularly complex Subject Access Request. We are a block & estate management company and have very little experience in dealing with such requests. Both Emma & Hannah were friendly, professional and fast to respond to communications throughout the process. Should we receive a complex SAR again, we will not hesitate to contact them.

The Fakenham Medical Practice

“Emma Cooper of Kafico Ltd was chosen in February 2018 by the Fakenham Medical Practice to be its Data Protection Officer (DPO) in order to prepare the practice for General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) legislation which was implemented on 25th May 2018.

We knew from four years’ previous experience, when she advised our GP Federation on Data Protection matters, that the advice she gave was without fail accurate, comprehensive and timely.  She is able to explain what might otherwise be complicated issues in easy to understand layman’s terms.

The quality of her work is excellent value for money.   I would have no hesitation in recommending her company’s services.”
